Just finished up this black and white illustration for Lord Windsor coffee shop here in Long Beach. Wade and Lindsay are the couple that own the place and I always feel like a part of their coffee family when I go in there for an amazing cup of joe. All their coffee is hand roasted on site! They commissioned me to draw them a t-shirt design for an up-coming event they're having. They told me they wanted a dude surfing, coffee somewhere in the design, a little psychadelic action, and their name. This is what I came up with. It’s October, 2024, and I am still wearing your T-shirt to the gym and to bed (here in Cle Elum, WA). Weirdly, a few months ago my twin brother was wearing the exact same T-shirt. I thought he’d stolen mine, but as a former roaster for Caffe Vita, he apparently got his when he worked at Vita’s Silver Lake location in LA. We’re both in Cle Elum now. Our mom and I were admiring the art and words on my T-shirt this morning and decided to Google coffee chaff and surfing to see what the connection is. Goggle brought us here to your page! Too cool!
